Cancellation Policy

The student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges according to the terms below.

Students may not cancel the agreement by calling the school phone number or by not attending the class. The cancellation form must be filled in, signed and submitted to the school.

The cancellation form must be signed and dated by the student and submitted in person or by certified mail.

Once the form is received, an official school representative will sign and date the form upon receipt. The student will receive the dated and signed copy of the cancellation form by mail or in-person. Refunds will be paid within 45 days of the cancellation date. The 45 days start on the date upon cancellation form receipt by the school.

Refund Information:

  • If the school re-scheduled a class due to low enrollees prior to or on the day of scheduled class, the student is given an option to use the fees for another class or obtain a refund of the tuition fees except for the $150.00 registration fee.
  • The student will be required to purchase instructional supplies, books and tools. Books and uniforms cannot be refunded once purchased from the school.
  • If a student obtains a loan to pay for an educational program, it is the student responsibility to repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount of refund.
  • Any student who decides to cancel or withdraw from the course before completing 60% or less of the required training will receive a pro rata refund of the full amount of basic tuition fee of $1,600.00 excluding the $150 registration fee.

For example: The student completes 96 hours out of a 160 hours CNA course and paid $1,600.00 tuition.

  • Step 1:
    • 96 / 160 = 60% of clock hours of instruction attended
  • Step 2:
    • $1,450.00 (course fee of $1,600.00 minus $150.00 registration fee) * 60% = $870.00 (calculated amount for hours attended)
  • Step 3:
    • $1,600.00 – $150.00 – $870.00 = $580.00 (REFUND to the student)

In a different example, if the student completed 55% of class and decides to cancelled or withdraw, and had paid only $500.00 of the basic tuition, the student will owe the institution.

For example: The student completes 88 hours of a 160 hours AND only paid $500.00 in basic tuition.

  • Step 1:
    • 88 / 160 = 55% of clock hours of instruction attended
  • Step 2:
    • $1,450.00 (course fee of $1,600.00 minus $150.00 registration fee) * 55% = $797.50 (calculated amount for hours attended)
  • Step 3:
    • $797.50 – $500.00 = $297.50 (Amount student owes school)
